  • Nope, still upset

    Probably because I can picture it so clearly.

    I love midnight openings and midnight releases. They’re like Mini Nerd Cons. You and your friends are so excited and happy. Or even if you’ve just been dragged out there to a thing you don’t want to see, you’re surrounded by excited people. Most people are so giddy, they’re easy to talk to. They’re fellow nerds. You don’t know if the show’s gonna be good, or bad, but damnit you’ve cleared your schedule and are gonna make an event out of it.

    And it’s way too easy to picture being in that theater, and someone broke in through the exit door with body armor and a shotgun. This and other thoughts are running through my head.

    My heart goes out to the victims. I implore people to avoid trying to make a point using this, until we know everything. This is my last post on the subject. I’m sorry to hijack my own blog like this.
